Ship-a-Chip (entering Grades 5-10)
Thursday, June 21, 1:00-2:30 p.m. AND Thursday, June 28, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Think you can ship a single potato chip through the mail without it breaking? Put your skills to the test at this fun STEM challenge program. At the first session, you’ll design and mail your package, and at the second session, we’ll open all the packages to see how many chips survived! Registration is required.
Science kits are available for checkout on several different topics.
Each kit contains hands-on, self-guided activities focusing on a single STEM subject area. We have Ozobots, Snap Circuits, Anatomy, Geology, Math (Fractions) and Eco-Car just to name a few.
We have 39 total kits in circulation, but you need a library card to check them out. They are not available for in-library use.
